Dr. Kubo is a member of the Japan Society of Aesthetic Surgery and the Japan Orthopedic Surgery Association, as well as a Board member of the Journal of the Japan Society of Aesthetic Surgery. He is also on the Committee of the Japan Aesthetic Surgery Research Institute. Dr. Kubo graduated from Asahikawa Medical College in Hokkaido, subsequently entering into the Post-Graduate Doctoral Pathological Course of Study at the Medical College of Hokkaido University. Later, he transferred to the Clinical Virology Department at Rockefeller University in New York, to conduct research on the Mechanisms of HIV Pathogenesis. Dr. Kubo trained for half a year on the technique of microsurgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, U.S.A. He has also earned a Sports Doctor License from the Japan Physical Education Association.

Recent years have seen amazing advances in anti-aging and cosmetic surgery. From internal medicine treatments to surgical technique, the possibilities for bringing out one's inner youthfulness and beauty
have greatly expanded.

After graduating from Hokkaido University's Faculty of Medicine and completing my training at that university's hospital, I studied abroad at the forefront of microsurgery, Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, U.S., where I acquired the techniques and knowledge necessary for aesthetic surgery.

After returning to Japan, I served as director of the Shibuya branch of Jujin Hospital, where I gained much experience through countless consultations with a great number of patients. In the process, I became acutely aware of the vast differences in anti-aging and cosmetic medicine between Japan and the U.S.

In this context, I desired to realize medical services in Japan that were comparable to what is provided in the U.S. regarding anti-aging and cosmetic medicine. I was inspired to proactively introduce cutting-edge developments in the steadily advancing techniques practiced in Europe as well as the U.S. In Japan, we need to realize the highest standards in cosmetic medicine that respond to the genuine desires in life for youth and beauty. Furthermore, I want to implement comprehensive anti-aging medical treatments that transcend the current confines of internal medicine and surgery.

Yet, realizing this dream is not something that I can do on sheer willpower alone. I believe that it is precisely in being allowed to apply my strengths as a physician to the fullest, rooted in mutual trust between patients who visit my clinic for treatment and myself, that I can deliver truly effective care to both body and mind.
